Wing Tip & Landing Lights

Post by monty777er » Thu Feb 17, 2022 6:19 pm

Researching the form on lighting and the threads seem to be dated with LED now in favor. I have the dual wing landing taxi lights on both wings; I forget who sold them back in the day but MAM now sell. I also have the factory droop tips and am looking for a green/red, strobe, nav light combo rated for night flying. What are the recommended wing lights? These are for my Moose.
Thanks
Monty

Check out psaenterprises.com. Lakeland Florida. I have standard Whelan light assemblies including strobes. I used their led replacement bulbs. On the strobe you can disconnect the power supply and throw it away. Everything is in the light bulb itself. For landing and takeoff, I have standard leading edge assemblies with Whelan leds.

Ron Shannon put these on the Rebel I now own - they are AWESOME -

There is also an LED in each wing leading edge, now set up to "pulse" for traffic situations or continuous for landing or take off

correction - these are the ones on my Rebel -

Nav, anti collision for green/white/red and strobes, all in these two lights - I had the wrong product link on the AeroLED webpage

https://aeroleds.com/products/experimental-pulsar-nsp/

I ws on the right web page, just not the correct product on that web site.
