Where to buy tube seal?

Post by cgroves » Mon Jan 25, 2021 1:33 pm

There is a reference to "tube seal" in the instructions but I can't find a product by that name anywhere. Where do you buy it?

Poly-Fiber has Tube Seal, which is essentially MIL. SPEC. L-21260 preservation oil and it will do the same thing.

Another EPA outlawed product. It's no longer available...

Boiled linseed oil or preserve oil as WCKP stated can be used just the same to coat tube internals.

Do you then have trouble painting the surface? Can you clean it off enough so it doesn’t cause issues?
