Kit place of manufacture

There is a guy named Craig Buttery posting on facebook that Murphy kits are made in China. He did say they are using US aluminum but is quite adamant that the kits are produced in China. I have never heard this before but he sounds a little 'anti-Murphy' but in response I did say that I knew the quick build kits were assembled in China and the prebuilt floats but sure hadn't heard of the kits being built there.
