Lesson Learned -- Marking Ribs
I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier. Today, I noticed the rib flanges on my aileron ribs were different sizes, some almost 1/4" wider than others. I wanted to mark the center lines in the same location, so thought of clamping a 1/4" piece of plywood to my table, laying the rib next to it with the flanges pointed up, and then drew my lines with a sharpie. I quickly had lines in the same location on all the ribs and all sides of the ribs. Too simple.
