Wow! What a fantastic adventure of a lifetime! Unbelievable scenery, and
wonderful people. I enjoyed meeting not only the builders, but also
family and friends. Brian, Susan, Anna -- all made the trip most enjoyable.

The only disappointment was when Garry and I won the airborne audio
talent contest by default. We would have preferred some vigorous
competition. Apparently our brilliant rendition of Old MacDonald -- in
harmony -- intimidated (appalled, disgusted?) other would be contestants.

I managed to closely inspect 7 different Rebels (including a few at
Oshkosh) and yakking with the builders provided invaluable info for
someone still building (bumbling?) away.

Today or tomorrow I'll set up an online gallery application for photos
on my server in Seattle. Anyone who wants to contribute may send pics
via email (50 MB limit per email) or on a CD via snail mail (below) or
you can upload yours direct. Anyone who wants to contribute can have
their own login to the gallery program so you can annotate and/or upload
your own photos.

Thanks again to Bob and Anna for their outstanding organizational and
shepherding skills, to Jim, Tom, and Ken for their wise technical
counsel, and most of all to Garry for his good company and the
opportunity to fly 3000 miles in a Rebel. Hopefully 254R will be ready
for the next Ramble.
