Have a good flight

Post by Bob Patterson » Mon Feb 20, 2012 5:45 am

Hi Gunnar !!

Sorry your trip didn't quite work out - sounds like a very
scenic flight, though !!

Maybe you can come up to Brampton on the 7th of July, and fly
along with us for a few days, anyway ....

Hope we'll see you then !

Hi Bob and All:

I have read your reports with interest and enjoyed them.

As you know I was on a flight to Alaska with a friend from Texas. I fllew
down there to join up with him. We flew up to Tucson Arizona and then
North. Fred, my friend groundlooped his Kitfox in a very bad crosswind. We
had to take it apart and he drove it back to Texas from Grand Canyon, AZ.
I went on to Missoula,Montana to see a friend and rest. Now I am only one
day from home in Coldwater Michigan.
I want to encourage everyone to go for a long cross country tour. This is
my second. It is no fun to travel alone, that's why I am heading home.
Greetings to all Ramble participants, have a great trip.

Gunnar.

P.S. I had only tail winds today, groundspeed up to 132 mph once; just
over 100 average. and this in a small, slow Kitfox
