Hi Mike !

Welcome to the Ramble mail list !! I hope this list will become useful
to folks planning for the Ramble. Maybe we can exchange sources for
tents, etc. Also, any comments on our RON spots will be welcomed.
(Maybe Dave Bangle can tell everyone about the tourist delights we'll
be seeing in Sandpoint, ID ??? :-) )

I am working on our usual group purchase deal for maps for the trip.
Once it is set up, you will be able to order the whole basic package
with one item number, and extras as you choose. If you're only coming
for part of the trip, you may only need one or 2 maps, so this might
not be much of an advantage ...

Probably the last week to OSH will our window from
7/17 or 18. Head up to whre you are going to
be....Well supposed to be. I guess I need to know how
to locate your RON if you change enroute?!?!

Looking forward to it. Prop should be in this/next
week and the annual completed before the end of April.

I am trying to talk my dad and another NAvioneer into
going, but I am not holding out much hope.

Thanks for the newsletter...if we can do anything from
down in the States ...let me know.

Have asked Mike Davis to check out the reply function on this list -
REPLY sends to the original sender instead of the list ... Should be
fixed soon ...

We plan to leave a brief message of our whereabouts on the
answering system at (905) 457-5238. We have done this before, and it
works reasonably well - of course, we don't always end up RON'ing
where we planned :-). We try to update the message every couple
of days.... Maybe someone will pick it up & send an email to this
list updateing everyone on our position.

Would be nice to take a laptop along to stay connected, but space,
weight, and TIME will all be <somewhat> limited ;-)

Look forward to catching up to you somewhere along the line -
we've had some great parties at Ashland, WI !! Thanks for spreading
the word - the more, the merrier !!!

Looks like we'll have everything from Archers to ultralights !!
Should be a lot of fun !!!!
