strut fairings

Ron - are those a soft plastic? How do they close? They look like a part that would be used on sailboats. I know there is a sailboat that uses an "A" frame strut shape as part of the rigging. These may be used at the deck / spar junction. I'll do some research to see what I can find. They look good and I would like a set as well.
