I haven't received anything either !! It may have something to do with
the new format - when I type "REPLY", the "TO" box is filled in with the
name of the original poster, NOT murphy-rebel@dcsol.com, AS IT SHOULD BE
!!
Maybe this is quickly taking all email out of the list and into
private,
so the rest of us get nothing !!
Hi Bob, If your message is properly delivered to the list server you
should
get a copy echoed back to you.
The point was that SOMETHING has changed on the list server - the way
messages are now formatted, if you hit "REPLY", you get to send a PRIVATE
email, NOT a message to the list !!

On another note; my Rebel wings have no access covers anywhere and no quick
fuel drains in the tanks. Would you recommend installing them?
No drains for checking for water ??? YES !! Definitely put them in.

I'm
thinking about putting in three access panels in each wing. One on each
side of the main spar at the strut attach fitting, and one behind the tank
near the rear spar attach.
I really wouldn't bother with access covers if you have no leak
problems.
If they don't leak now, they likely never will, so why add weight....
Do you have any suggestions for making these access covers?
If you do need inspection holes for other places, it is easiest to make
them oval so it is easier to slip the doubler inside. The doubler is cut to
approx. 1 1/2 - 2" wide, so it has enough material to let you rivet it
around
the opening, and it hangs out into the hole, so you can put the piece you
cut
out back in, and fasten it to the doubler.

---|---|-- --|---|--- <- doubler
=========|== | | ==|============== <- bottom wing skin
| | ^<- rivets
=|===========|= <- insert
| | <- bolts & nutplates, or rivets
