Hi folks !
Is there any source of fairings ( covers ) made of aluminium perhaps
preformed
in order to install over the holes in the tail section ,where the elevator
push
pull tubes leave the tail section?
In the Aircraft Spruce Catalog there are only platic cable covers. I have
seen
such Aluminium covers on Wray Thomsons homepage (pictures). Very nice Wray!!

Dave Fife, of 3D Composite Aircraft Parts Inc., is working on a set
of fairings for those right now ! Should be available soon. He also
has very nice fairings for the rudder, elevator, and the aileron push
rods on the wings, and very soon, complete Hoerner-style wing tips.

The quality of these fairings is excelent, and the price is good too !

The tips are one-piece heat-cured fiberglass, and the tail push rod
fairings will be aluminum.

You can contact Dave at: aircrafttips@yahoo.com
