Just a thought - if you're planning on floats, the split flap is
not a good idea. The flapperons work better ....

The flapperons are in 6 degree increments - 6, 12, and 18 degrees.
No idea what the split flap angles are, but would have to be about
double to be as effective - and that means much higher loads on the
flap handle. Eat your Wheaties !!!
Also, forget about negative flap for improved cruise ....
