[rebel-builders] Super Rebel/Moose Upgrade

Post by Bob Patterson » Sun Feb 19, 2012 11:36 pm

Ted ....

I think what Jeff was saying was that JUST doing the Service Bulletins
and fixes for the Moose that are listed on the web site .... WAS NOT
<ALL> that was needed to upgrade an SR to a Moose.

As you know, there are close to 100 different things one must/should
do for a full upgrade, including about 60+ new parts. He was worried that
someone might think that just doing the SB's was enough -- and we would
end up with more SR-2750's !! :-(

Bruce,

MAM was going to put some conversion kits together, but not sure if they
had enough interested parties. There's about 30 parts in the Fuselage and
about the same amount for the wing, plus the upgraded windscreen.

Remember doing the SR3500 (Moose) mods and upgrades listed on the MAM site
http://www.pattersonaerosales.com/Aircr ... chSpt.html doesn't
turn your SR2500 (Super Rebel) into a Moose.

[rebel-builders] Super Rebel/Moose Upgrade

Post by Ted Waltman » Sun Feb 19, 2012 11:36 pm

Thank you for clarifying that Bob. I misunderstood the whole original email
exchange if that's what was implied--of course one has to accomplish ALL the
upgrades to have a "real" Moose!

Again, thank you,

Ted
