[rebel-builders] Exhaust hangars

Post by Wayne G. O'Shea » Sun Feb 19, 2012 8:50 pm

Ralph, that lord mount bolt moves with the engine. It has to and if it
didn't it would require a very loose bolt or broken case ear. You can also
use a sump bolt if you have a clear shot to the exhaust pipes. Just the way
this one particular set up was and it worked very well.

Wayne,
I like your tube / hose hangar. Is there any reason it could not (or
should not) be secured to an engine sump bolt using a slightly longer
bolt? It seems that secured to the Lord mount bolt there is still some
relative movement between the pipe and engine while bolting to the engine
would have them move in unison.
Regards and thanks for your time.
Ralph Baker
