[rebel-builders] Question of Rebel Datum location/ Cof G range

Post by Wayne G. O'Shea » Sun Feb 19, 2012 8:35 pm

That's interesting Ron.. considering the cabin bottom below the door sill is
to be level for weighing.. and the door post is perpendicular to the cabin
bottom.. and the axle should be on the center line of the door post.. and
the door post is behind (aft of) the wings leading edge.

On 254R, with spring gear and 8.00x6.00 Carlisle turf tires, the center of
the axle was 0.5" forward of a plumb bob dropped from the leading edge.

Gary.. the axle center line is not ahead of the leading edge! It is

AFT of the wing leading edge.
