With very careful prep and alumniprep33 + one coat of epoxy primer + one coat urethane, I had what looked like light filiform corrosion on struts and fairings after 11 years. My take on it is that any two component epoxy is likely to be better than any single component primer. I used a two component during assemby but I question whether a two component is worth the extra trouble for assembling faying surfaces compared to a single component product. AFAIK epoxy primer is the only primer that will retain adhesion on our flaperons when polyfiber fabric is glued on.
It also works better than anything else I've tried on my steel engine mount.
Seems to be stupid expensive lately though.

Mine is similar except on aft side of the main spar and inboard of the strut. I refuse to deal with the relatively toxic conversion coatings. I used a very very light coat of epoxy primer on exposed surfaces applied after partial assembly where possible. Don't let it hinder good surface prep of faying surfaces. A very light see through coating will not flake off if panels fle...

Coenraad General practice seem to be to use a U shaped rubber gasket. I wrapped a rubber strip around the edge that LP plastic sells. The fuselage will flex more than you might think and then the plexi also expands about 3 times more than aluminum when it heats up so you don't want a solid attachmen...

This has come up several times over there over the years so it is not uncommon.
Not a problem with my older 3 led style indicator so I never paid much attention but I think there are some fixes there.

My stratux seems to work fine with the flightplango app on an ipad. Flightplango is a pretty good free replacement for foreflight. Does everything I want complete with all the Canadian charts and stuff as well. Haven't tried it with Android.

From what I remember, I brought wires to the cross tube at a convenient spot and tie wrapped.
Similar from cross tube to outside bottom of the stick and tie wrapped.
Up the outside of the stick several inches and in through a small grommet.

Newish automobile engines run different bearing material and dramatically tighter clearances and are much more sensitive to oil cleanliness. If you really research that 98% number you will likely conclude that it does not mean much. I'd google any info that Mike Busch might have online about filters...
